About the Role

As a Field Sales Engineer at Pepperl+Fuchs, you are responsible for sales in your district by creating new business and further developing existing customer relationships. You primarily work with OEM customers and manufacturing industries, where approximately 60% of your time is spent on existing customers and 40% on new customer acquisition.

You own the entire business process – from prospecting and customer meetings to quotation, negotiation, and closing. The deals range from product sales to more complex advisory solution sales, where you work closely with both the customer and our technical specialists.

Your district covers Skåne, Blekinge, southern Småland, as well as parts of eastern Småland, with customers from, among others, Lund and Malmö up to Växjö and Oskarshamn. We would prefer that you are based in Lund and the surrounding area, where one of your closest colleagues is located, but other locations in western Skåne are also considered. The role involves great freedom under responsibility, and you report to Sales Manager Erik Janze.

About You

We believe you have

  • Experience in B2B sales to the industry, preferably within automation or related technical fields
  • Technical understanding of industrial, factory, or process automation through education or work experience
  • A strong technical interest and a desire to continuously develop your knowledge
  • Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • A valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have experience with

  • OEM sales
  • Sensors, PLCs, HMIs, industrial communication, or similar automation solutions
  • Advisory solution sales to the manufacturing industry

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. For us, drive, curiosity, and a genuine interest in technology are at least as important as previous experience.
